The majority of Jodie’s art is done on the printing press creating one-of-a-kind monotypes using both water-based and oil mediums. Her style varies and ranges from representational images to abstract design. Vivid colors and authentic cultural patterns infuse her work. Jodie also works in oils, watercolors, and collage. Many of the paints she uses are ground from semiprecious stones such as Lapis, Turquoise, Tiger’s Eye, Hematite, and Jade which impart a vibrant and lustrous luminosity. Giclees are printed in a limited edition of 50 or 100, numbered and signed by the artist.
