H. Howard Heath
Hubert Howard Heath was born in Brookline and educated in Boston and Needham, Massachusetts. He enlisted in the U.S. Army air force as World War II started, serving in England and France.
Upon returning from the war, he embarked on a full time art career, graduating from the old Vesper George School of Art in Boston. He attended many workshops in portraiture, painting, and drawing. He has worked in industry and commercial art studios as an illustrator for many years. As time went on, painting scenery in acrylics or oils became more appealing to him. Howard and his wife Iris now live on Cape Cod where he is devoting all time to the fine arts.
Howard Heath is an artist member of the American Society of Marine Artists, a member of the Cape Cod Art Association, the Yarmouth Art Guild and the Cape Museum of Fine Arts. He has received awards and honors from these as well as from the Latham Foundation, the North Light and Artist Magazine.
His paintings are in many private collections both here and in England.
