Laurie Rapoza
Majoring in graphic design, Laurie’s passion lies in the fine arts. Coming to the Vineyard for 38 years has inspired her to paint some of the Islands favorites. She considers herself a symbolic artist, as appreciation and enrichment comes from what is meaningful to her.Her exhibits include Spring Bull Gallery, Newport, RI, Bristol Art Museum, Bristol, RI, Narrows Center for the Arts, Fall River, MA, and The Fall River Art Association, Fall River, MA. Presently she is a featured artist at Island Art, Vineyard Haven, MA. Laurie’s rendition of the Quequechan River in 2004 won her an award at the Narrows Center for the Arts. She continues to take art classes and traveling, enhancing her experiences, thereby, constantly evolving as an artist.
