Jean McCabe joined the ranks of year-rounders in1972, after spending summers on Island since infancy. In true Vineyard fashion she moved up and down the non- corporate ladder – pumping gas, tending gardens, selling real estate, managing property and painting houses. Her interest in painting, the fine art variety, began at an early age. Her mother, an accomplished artist, taught her the basics . Jean continued her studies at Centenary College, Syracuse and Drew University, graduating in 1972.Jean McCabe |
