The common theme of my painting is scenes that bring a smile to the face of the viewer… be it a personal memory, a meaningful portrait, or a broader representation of a scene of nature. I work primarily in oils, though I also offer renditions in acrylics, pen and ink, pastel, and colored pencil.
A resident of Cape Cod since 1997, I was born and raised in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, started painting at the age of 13, studied privately with Jeanie Moyer of Moyer’s Art Gallery, and followed the art major curriculum at Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill. After high school graduation I chose to not pursue art professionally, but rather to keep it as my personal gift and joy.
